Fall Youth Soccer Registration for this program starts July 18 at the Recreation Department. Age groups are: 4-5, 6-7, 8-10, 11-14. (8th grade limit). Play is tentatively scheduled to begin September 20th and lasts for seven weeks. Coaches are certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Assoc., Chapter of the Glendive Recreation Department. Cost: $30 city; $40 non-city. (Volunteer coaches and referees are needed for this program, so come join the fun.)
British Soccer Camp British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Camp programs include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on line registrations 45 days prior to camp!

ATTENTION ALL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS!!!
Now starting for boys and girls in grades 4th & 5th will be a volleyball program that covers the basics of volleyball, including setting, passing, serving, spiking and playing the game. A mini-tourney will be played at the end of the program. Long sleeve T-shirts are provided. Look for upcoming information in the Winter. Cost: $30 city resident, $39 non-city resident. Registration due: January 2012.

Age groups are 14-17 or the equivalent of entering freshman through returning senior. Play is scheduled to begin July 13th and lasts five weeks. Games will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays. The tournament will be held Aug. 8-10th. This will be two separate leagues with one being boys and the other being girls. Officials for the games will be players of teams not playing at that time.
